Rates, Rules, and the Rest:

Rates are dependent on the season and the length of your stay and occasionally other factors.  The nightly rate for the boathouse studio is $250-300 plus state and local taxes. For your comfort, we allow only two persons, but some exceptions are possible. Please call or email us to find out the details. During the busy season, June 15-Sept 30 and some other times, the minimum stay is three days, but we encourage you to stay much longer than that, as there is much to do and enjoy here at the cottage and in Wellfleet, not to mention the surrounding villages.

Our complete package includes nightly accommodations and full breakfasts if you wish, but there are other options. During your stay, the private beach and the grounds, as well as your room, are for your use. The porch is also available some of the time.



Weekly Special: We have a weekly special for $1550 plus tax, which includes breakfast every other day and full use of the beach and other amenities.



The Boathouse Studio: Our only guest accommodation is the Boathouse Studio, described in the Guest Room menu item. It is comfortably designed for one or two persons.


Food: We try to prepare the foods that you will like. Along with your advance registration, you will be asked to fill out a form stating your food preferences, allergies, and special diets. As we have few guests at a time, we are usually able to accommodate your requests.



Pets: We do not allow pets of any kind. Because of severe allergies in the family, we keep the Boathouse Studio entirely free of all animals. In addition, we and many of our guests love to see wildlife, and pets running around disturb nature's organisms.



Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or anywhere on our property (except in your car).  Unfortunately, the chance of fire is always a concern.



Handicap Access: We are sorry, but our facilities are not handicap accessible. You must be able to walk over uneven ground and to get to the Boathouse Studio, you must climb 15 steps.



Your guests: To maintain a tranquil and quiet setting here, please do not entertain non-B&B guests in your room or on the property without our permission, and please limit visits to about 2 hours in any day.

Other Considerations: We have "Cape Cod Air Conditioning", which means the fresh air blows freely through the doors at each end of the Boathouse, and we have fans to help circulate it. Also, cable companies do not service this area, so your Internet devices may not work here, and we have no television coverage. We have had success with a Verizon cell phone and a Verizon Hot Spot and MiFi device, but we can't promise that anything else will work here. However, the Library in town and many other places do have Internet service that can be accessed from your car or anywhere nearby. But, if air conditioning and on site Internet or TV are vital to your happiness, this isn't the place for you.
